This privacy policy explains the information we process and collect when you visit our website and how we use it.
Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. As with any web host, Cloudflare's network receives the technical details of each request (your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, the page requested, and the time) and processes them to route the traffic, serve the page, protect the site from attack, and produce aggregate traffic statistics. Receiving this data is inherent to delivering a website: there is no way to opt out of it and still load the page. Cloudflare handles it as our hosting provider under its own privacy policy, which you can read at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/, and retains it for a limited period. We run no server of our own, we keep no copy of this data, and nothing in it is used to profile you.
Cloudflare, our hosting provider, may place strictly necessary cookies
(__cf_bm and _cfuvid) in your browser when you visit
the site. They let Cloudflare recognize the same browser across requests,
which is how it tells trusted traffic from automated traffic and enforces rate
limits. They are short-lived, are not tied to any account or advertising profile,
are not used for analytics or profiling, and do not follow you to other sites.
They are the only cookies the site uses: there are no advertising cookies and
no tracking pixels.
The puzzles you have played and any settings you change live in memory only and are gone when you close the page. The one thing kept between visits is a cached copy of the 3D board model, stored by your browser so the board does not have to be downloaded again. It contains no information about you, it never leaves your device, and clearing your browser's site data removes it.
If you write to us with a bug report, a question, or a privacy request, we receive your email address and whatever you put in the message. We use it only to reply and to act on what you told us. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we never sell or share it.
Apart from any email you choose to send us, the only personal information we process is the request data your browser sends to our host, described in section 2. We keep no copy of it and never sell or share it. To see what is held or have it removed, email us and we will forward your request to Cloudflare.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
